Dreams

I love reflecting, reflecting and speculating - about what has gone and what is yet to come.

The problem is - it can be all to dangerous to get caught up into dreams. I've recently decided that I want to get into the victorian college of arts - and study dramatic art. - The problem is that whilst this is a very real, and (possibly?) achievable - I am inclined to absorb myself in it.

I am currently reading "The professor's house" by Willa Cather. - It is better than I first expected and becoming more and more intriguing (I am almost half-way through it.) - Why am I mentioning this?

Firstly and unrelatedly with XP on my notebook - and especially its' cleartype elements - this looks stunning. LoL. - Anyway I was enjoying this book when I started to think about my dreams - which are now fast becoming goals (YES!!) - and then realised that I have to be careful.

I need to ensure that I am using my dreams as motivation, and occasional indulgence - not too much absorbption or I will end up getting caught up in it all. -Ah well, I will go and do some dream research - that is - reading about the course - untill dinner time (which is about half an hour away) - then I will return to reading my book.

~in the between time I will drop Bob back home as he has been here for the past 3 days.

Cheers

The actor

Having noticed the fact that my focus has, of late, been rather bias towards English and Literature - I have been lately trying to refocus on my dreams and primary goals of becoming an actor. Most notably this has seen the (as yet brief) relaunch of the old aesthetic ice blog (aestheticice.blogspot.com) - and, more noteworthy - a possible goal revision - direction into the Victorian College of The Arts.

I am also considering being slightly more liberal with the information I divulge in this blog, but for now, privacy concerns are paramount and you won't be getting full names any time soon - at least I may reveal location names in less cryptic forms from now on - then again I may not.

~Cheers~

Movement

I finished reading three dollars today. It was a fantastic read, and has had an impact, that will perhaps be forever remebered, upon my innermost psyche. If you wish to know the world through the eyes of an Australian born in an era where the economy double crossed the country, and want more than a dramatic love story - if you wish to read a post-modern bildungsroman that will linger in the foreground of your thoughts for extended periods of time, then pick up this book. Again it is "Three Dollars" By Elliot Perlman.

Aside from that an action packed weekend for Link's 21st saw us down at the "strip club" for a boys night out. - With lap dances all-round it was a night to be well remembered!

Other than reading and playing xbox, watching a mix of movies on tv (flash, some hostage thing, danny deckchair etc...) I have been sleeping. A trip down to the local cls for some shopping and that about sums everything up.

Yes life is very much normal, but then again this blog isn't a symbol - that is what the playground is for. Join me there if you haven't already.

Cheers.
